RICHFIELD, Minn. - North Memorial Medical Center CEO David Cress was arrested in Richfield, Minn. on Wednesday along with 13 other people in a prostitution bust.
Cress, 60, was arrested at 77th and Lyndale Avenues in Richfield during an undercover prostitution sting. Sources told FOX 9 undercover investigators reeled the men in with an online ad. When the men showed up for sex, officers made the arrests.
Richfield police refused to comment on the ongoing investigation.
North Memorial Chairman of the Board of Trustees Larry Taylor released a statement Wednesday night:
’Today we were informed that David Cress, North Memorial President and CEO, was arrested in Hennepin County on charges related to prostitution. This is a troubling, personal situation, but North Memorial’s focus will continue to be on providing our patients and their families with excellent care.’
Cress posted bail of $300 late Wednesday afternoon.
