Suspect in Minneapolis Murder Charged

The suspect in the Bossen Terrace homicide that occurred on June 29 was charged.

Arturo Andres Rocha-Campiz, 18, was charged with second degree murder on Thursday.

EMS personnel responded to a medical call in the 5700 block of Bossen Terrace.

Police say when EMS personnel arrived at the apartment it was apparent that the adult male for who medical attention had been called for was deceased and that the death appeared suspicious.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death and identify the victim.

Investigators were led to Rocha-Campiz through text messages and when he used the victim’s credit cards. The victim’s identification and credit cards were found on defendant’s person when he was arrested.
