MINNEAPOLIS - Twenty-four cops are on a saturation sweep of the north side of Minneapolis targeting members of a gang called the Taliban.
Lieutenant Bret Lindback is the supervisor of dog watch. He is a veteran of the north side and knows the players.
Minneapolis Police Department is sending out a summer message as usual.
Police visited a woman Wednesday night whose brother is a founding father of Chicago’s Vice Lords street gang.
Her 18-year old son was arrested on a warrant and is following in his uncles footsteps. He's been shot twice already this year.
A lot of the action has gone down in front of a house that's a known the Taliban hangout.
Minneapolis police have made their presence known, only the summer will tell, whether it made a difference.
