Chicago Ave Business Fire Ruled Arson

A multi-business fire Tuesday at 21st Street and Chicago Avenue has been definitively ruled arson by Minneapolis police investigators.

Police said the arson is possibly the result of a dispute between a business owner at 2113 Chicago and some teens that had been witnessed partying behind the businesses which were destroyed.

The fire started in a pile of cardboard boxes stacked behind the building -- the owner says they were not there when he left the previous night.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Minneapolis Police Department.
