MINNEAPOLIS - A 7-year-old boy is recovering in the hospital after he fell from a window from the Marriot Town House Suites in Minneapolis Wednesday night.

Carrie Pique says time stood still as she watched her son, Armani, lying two stories below. After falling, Armani was transferred to the pediatric intensive care unit at Hennepin County Medical Center. Doctors performed three CAT scans to make sure there was no swelling on the brain. Amazingly, he suffered no serious injuries.

Armani chipped a few teeth and broke his cheek bone, but didn't even require stitches.

After the accident, Pique said the screen showed no signs of damage and can't understand how was able to fall out

“There was no impression from where is body hit the screen it just looked like a perfect screen,” said Pique.

The hotel says the building is in compliance all fire and building code and passed a Marriott safety inspection on March 31.
