MINNEAPOLIS - Best Buy has made its way onto the naughty list of some holiday shoppers, as the electronics retailer has found itself unable to fulfill some November and December online orders, including Black Friday deals.

“Due to overwhelming demand of hot product offerings on BestBuy.com during the November and December time period, we have encountered a situation that has affected redemption of some of our customers’ online orders,” Best Buy said in an emailed statement to FOX 9. “We are very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused and we have notified the affected customers.”

Several shoppers have taken to the BestBuy.com community forum with complaints of backordered purchases and canceled orders that won’t be making it to their door in time for Christmas or Hannukah.

Best Buy’s in-store doorbuster deals and online exclusive deals on Black Friday featured HDTVs, laptop computers, tablets, Blu-Ray players, digital cameras and DVDs.
