MINNEAPOLIS - When your chances for long locks are long gone, you may embrace the idea that bald is beautiful or it could end up your number one insecurity. But anew tool can help those fighting baldness.

Dave Miller, 39, says he wasn't obsessed with baldness, but it just never looked quite right to him.

He's underwent a five hour procedure called cosmetic hair replication with a newly designed hair thin needle and mineral-based pigment to match his hair color. The technician colored permanent little dots to simulate hair follicles.

When healed, the redness disappears and the color will lighten to match his real hair color.

Good Look Ink has been in the hair replication business for about two years. Darrin Gerr says it's not just for the really bald, but those with thin hair are also perfect clients because the procedure can make the hair look thicker. They can also disguise scars from hair transplants.
