Woman Attacked, Robbed in St. Cloud

Masked men with guns bound woman with tape

ST. CLOUD, Minn. - Two men have been arrested after breaking into a St. Cloud home and tying up a woman with duct tape before ransacking and robbing her home.

Eric Andrews, 26, of St. Cloud and Corey Andrews, 29, of St. Joseph were arrested in connection with the home invasion and robbery.

According to St. Cloud police, officers were called to the 700 block of 18th Ave. S. around 6:46 a.m. Wednesday, where a 27-year-old woman had been bound with duct tape and assaulted by two masked men with guns.

The woman told police she woke up to find the men at the foot of her bed. After she was attacked and bound, the men threatened the woman and her 9-month-old baby with guns, then ransacked the house looking for items to steal. The suspects fled the house with cash and other valuables.

Eric Andrews was arrested early Wednesday evening by St. Cloud police, and Corey Andrews was arrested late Thursday morning by police in Brooklyn Park. The St. Cloud Metro Gang Strike Force assisted in the investigation and both arrests.

Both men and being held in the Stearns County Jail on pending charges of burglary, aggravated robbery, assault, false imprisonment and terroristic threats.
