Larry Fitzgerald and Marion Barber are back in the Minnesota football picture. The former Holy Angels standout and Gophers running back were drafted by Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak in a mayoral fantasy football league.

"With most of Vikingland obsessed with the new quarterback , your Mayor has been focused on getting REAL talent to work for us," Rybak posted on his blog .

Rybak's team, named Results Minneapolis , secured more hometown talent with Bernard Berrian, Visanthe Shiancoe, Ryan Longwell and the Vikings defense.

Rybak took a shot at Green Bay, Wis. Mayor Jim Schmitt for drafting Adrian Peterson.

"May as well pine for our ENTIRE backfield," Rybak wrote.

Packers players on Schmitt's team include running back Ryan Grant, kicker Mason Crosby and the Packers defense.

The Fantasy Football Mayoral Face-Off is sponsored by Yahoo! Sports . Seven of the participating mayors’ cities are home to NFL franchises, and the remaining three have NBA teams.

The winning mayor gets $15,000 to donate to a local sports program, and the team with the most votes from fans gets a $15,000 donation to their city for a local non-profit sports program.
