Jesse Langseth Arrested in Minneapolis

Former American Idol contestant Jesse Langseth was arrested just after midnight Friday in south Minneapolis.

Jessica Lee Langseth, 27, was stopped by police near E. 14th St. and Park Ave. because the left brake light of her car was out. She had a warrant for her arrest for driving on a suspended license.

Langseth posted $300 bail and was released from the Hennepin County Jail early Friday morning. A court appearance is scheduled for May 27 in Minneapolis.

Langseth died her hair a shade of blonde -- a change from the red she donned in the spotlight on American Idol.

Langseth was convicted of drunk driving in August 2007 after she was stopped in St. Louis Park with a blood alcohol content of at least. 0.20 percent. She served four days in jail for the conviction.
