The recent warm temperatures has not been kind to a lot of people.
Hennepin County Medical Center reports more than a dozen serious slip and fall injuries since the weekend.
Some of the injuries include fractures, broken ankles and tailbone injuries.
Patty Lindquist is one victim who slipped on the ice and broke her wrist in two places. She says she simply lost her footing and fell.
HCMC doctors say when temperatures drop so quickly, slip and fall injuries occur more.
They recommend to always be careful and to wear the proper footwear.
