ST. PAUL, Minn - FOX 9 help thousands of Minnesota girls “get their science on” at the Science Museum Saturday.
An estimated 8,000 girls and their parents packed St. Paul’s Science Museum of Minnesota for FOX 9’s annual “Girls and Science” day. It was a chance for girls to grow and learn from science industry women leaders, in such areas chemistry, biology and more.
Girls got hands-on experiences with the gadgets of the FOX 9 Weather First team explored human biology with St. Jude Medical, and test drove a robot from First Robotics.
Other displays let girls build a rocket out of a straw and “get buggy” with the help of the Department of Agriculture.
The FOX 9 Girls and Science event was free, and attendees got a free one day admission to the Science Museum to explore afterwards.
