Storm Blows Out Windows at Electric Fetus

A tornado was reported to have touched down in Minneapolis on Wednesday, with strong winds blowing out the windows at the iconic Electric Fetus record store.

No injuries were reported from the storm, and Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak was touring the city to survey the damage. Rybak was at Electric Fetus just minutes after the tornado was reported, and Minneapolis police and fire officials were checking for damage, gas leaks and structural damage.

The tornado was reported to have touched down in Minneapolis just after 2 p.m. Wednesday. Storm damage was concentrated along Portland Ave. in south Minneapolis.
