A St. Michael man fears his family will lose everything after he passes away. It is his dying wish to keep his family in his home.
Michael Talley, 42, knows it's going to be impossible for his wife to make the current mortgage payment, when he should be spending his last days enjoying his family he's battling the mortgage company looking for help.
14 months ago, doctors diagnosed Talley with stage 4 neck and throat cancer. With now months or even weeks to live, Talley wants to spend every waking moment with his family, instead he has a huge weight on his shoulders.
With mounting medical bills, the Talley’s have been working with their mortgage company, trying to use the mortgage assistance program to lower their monthly payments, but so far they say nothing has worked out.
Six years after buying their dream home, Talley fears when he goes the house will soon follow. Without the community of St. Michael stepping up, who know where the family would be. They raised $30,000 to help with medical and mortgage bills.
