Urinating Man Falls 30 Feet From Bridge

Rescue crews were called in around 3:30 a.m. Sunday to help a man who had fallen from the cedar avenue bridge after reportedly trying to relieve himself.

Police say the man was with another person when they got out of their vehicle on the bridge.

Emergency dispatch reports state the man was attempting to urinate over the side of the bridge.

The victim somehow went over the ledge and fell about 30 feet into the marsh below.

Investigators believe it was an accident.

The man's injuries are said to be non-life threatening
