Adrian Peterson: Football and Marketing Star

The Vikings’ Adrian Peterson is celebrating the release of a DVD about his first few seasons in the NFL.

On the field and off, Adrian Peterson is a star. He's got endorsement deals with major companies and now new DVD, chronicling his first few seasons with the Vikings.

According to University of Minnesota Sports Marketing Professor Stephen Ross says the opportunities are unlimited for Peterson. Ross points out that Peterson is only 24 years old, in the prime of his career and is already a favorite of fans and Madison Avenue.

"He’s got the entire package when it comes to celebrity athlete endorsements,” said Ross.

Peterson is enjoying every minute of it.

“I am just trying to take advantage of all the opportunities,” said Peterson. “I can't complain too much."

On Tuesday evening, Peterson's fans flocked to the Mall of America for the chance to meet their idol and to get an autographed copy of the DVD, All Day with Adrian Peterson.
