12-Pound Baby Born at Mercy Hospital

A 12-pound baby was delivered Tuesday night at Mercy Hospital. Nurses say it is the biggest baby they have ever seen at the hospital.

Billy Lee Madere was born Tuesday night, weighing in at an astonishing 12 pounds, 12 ounces and 22 inches long.

He weighs as much as most three month olds.

Madere's mother, Kathy Olson says she was expecting a big baby, but not one this big.
