EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - A growing website is attracting people looking to go green and get a good deal. Kristine fisher discovered swaptree.com a few months ago. She placed old DVDs, books and more on it.

The website is very simple to use. Just type in the UPC code, then it brings up comparable trades to consider.

Click on an item you want and the other person can accept or reject your trade.

No money is exchanged for the item, but the shipper has to pay for the item to go out.

This is unlike traditional online media sites that typically focus on one type of media.

Swaptree will allow cross media trades. So you can exchange more than just a CD for a different CD, but rather a CD for that book you always wanted.

Kristine knew this was the website she had been looking for when she and her husband were moving and had to get rid of a lot of junk.
