LAKEVILLE, Minn. - From Yours to Mine Consignment sale in Lakeville is coming up the weekend of April 9th. More than 200,000 items will be under one roof at the Ames Hockey Arena. Clothes for kids up to age 12, maternity items and toys will all be under the same roof at deep discounts.

If you want to become a consigner go to www.fromyourstomine.com , register your items, print and clip the bar code and you'll get 70 percent of whatever sells. 80 percent if you volunteer to help.

There is a one dollar admission for adults, but new this year if you bring a can of food you get in free. The leftover clothes and food donations will go to the Kids Closet.

"It does provide people a lot of people extra money," Henriette Roe said. "Before they just donated it or gave it to someone else, now they're thinking about selling it and getting that money. But what I really see is people come to shop and dress their kids for not a lot of money."

Another website called www.twincitieskidssales.com post several consignment sales in the metro happening right now or that are coming up. For instance, the Just Between Friends consignment sale in Maple Grove is coming up the last weekend in April.
