SLEEPY EYE, Minn. - A Brown County judge ordered Daniel Hauser, 13, to continue his current treatment plan for Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Daniel's lawyer says the tumor is responding well. The teen remains in the custody of his parents.
The next court review will be October 26th.
Hauser’s family said the boy was feeling sick after a second round of court-ordered chemotherapy to treat his Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Daniel and his mother, Colleen Hauser, went on the run after a Brown County judge ruled the boy must seek traditional medical treatment for his cancer. After they returned, the family consented to chemotherapy or faced losing custody of Daniel.
