* Mrs. Johnson has led students to perform the end-of-the-day announcements - which are creative and lively!

* She is an influential team member of the Positive Behavior Incentive Support team, which plans school-wide solutions to assist all students in managing their behavior and soaring to their highest potential.

* She is a leading force in teaching math. She and her students are sharing the how-tos for processes of multiplication and division through written demonstrations and dancing demonstrations – there’s even a website - www.multiplicationshake.com Mrs. Johnson has proven that kids learn the concepts earlier and faster with music and colors.

* Mrs. Johnson and other math teachers prepared teams of 5th and 6th graders to compete in the Minneapolis School District Math Competition.

* Currently, she is co-producing an educational tool called The Professional Learning Behavior DVD – which showcases model teachers and students at Olson Middle School. This should be completed this spring.

* Mrs. Johnson is also publishing a book called Lillie Dillie Start Wealthy - a guide book for parents to be their kids’ best FIRST teacher and start them on a successful financial path
