PT Technician

Responsibilities will primarily include operation of studio camera, but may also include working with tape machines, audio consoles, and switchers.

Basic knowledge of news control room and studio operations is required.

Shifts are primarily weekday and weekend mornings, but may include occasional evenings. Must be flexible for last-minute scheduling changes as this is a news-driven position.

All other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate.

General knowledge of television station technical operations as related to news broadcasts. Able to work from a lift up to 20 feet high. Able to carry up to 25 pounds. Graduate of broadcast training school or equivalent experience.

Must join IBEW 292.
