Scott is originally from Portland, Oregon.

He attended Syracuse University and got his start in broadcast journalism in Grand Junction, Colorado.

He has worked at several stations across the country before making the move to FOX 9 NEWS in 2004.

Scott lives in Chaska with his wife, daughter Samantha and two sons Ty and Beck. He enjoys sports, especially basketball and baseball and spending time with his family.

What was your favorite story to work on? "What's the matter with Arden" This was a story about a 5 year old girl with an illness that doctors cannot solve.

What’s on your iPod? The Boss, Journey, Gin Blossoms, Billy Joel

Most memorable interview or TV moment? A man stole a car with a 3 year old girl inside. The man did not know the girl was inside. I was live with the mother who was making a plea for the thief to let the girl go when in the middle of my live interview the Sheriff cam into the shot screaming we found her, we found her. The mother broke down in tears and it was the most emotional moment of my career.

Five people (dead or alive) you would most want to have dinner with? My late Grandfather Art Hersh, my 3 brothers who I rarely see, The Boss Bruce Springsteen, Vin Scully (LA Dodgers announcer), Bill Shonley (former Portland trailblazer announcer)

What would the meal be: Brisket and potatoes

Favorite TV shows/Movies? Heroes, Friday Night Lights, 24, Hoosiers, Bull Durham, Shawshank Redemption

Favorite sports team?: Portland Trailblazers, LA Dodgers

Biggest pet peeves? When people say the word over in reference to numbers such as "Over $100" it's "More than $100"

Guilty pleasures? Chocolate Exteme Blizzard
