LAKEVILLE, Minn. - Seemingly small acts of kindness can have big impacts, and a 9-year-old Lakeville girl says she knows even kids can change the world after a cocoa stand she ran out of her garage to help a missionary family at her church built a home in Swaziland.
Last year, Sophia Shabaz raised $300, which helped Children's Cup build a home in the southeast African country. Now, her fundraiser is moving out of the garage -- and it's getting support from Minnesota companies and the city of Lakeville.

Shabaz, along with her mother, Kristen -- who is a frequent guess in the FOX 9 Kitchen , and Pastor Justin Mac joined the FOX 9 Morning news to share her success story, which has also earned big thanks from the top directors of a national charity.
Children's Cup Executive Director Ben Rodgers also joined FOX 9 News over the phone to thank Shabaz.
